I got no medals to show for music critique, but APLM’s (A Problem like Maria - a good old childhood friend based in Quezon City) debut album nails down TRIP in trip-hop.  The lo-fi, muffled, almost distant-from-the-mike effect done on her dulcet vocals (you won’t associate dulcet with rapping) match and blend seamlessly with the instrumentation.
