Zoom the “torrential rains” haven’t stopped. (FYI, it’s not even a storm or a hurricane or whatever else you want to call it. this is just the product of our regular old monsoon season.) we’re stranded in our homes; and while my family and friends are safe from harm, the pictures and stories that have been going around online and on the news are heartbreaking. hopefully we’ll see the sun by the end of the week. in the meantime, donate to the philippine red cross if you can.
also, my alma mater is now underwater. (for the unfamiliar, this is what it normally looks like.)
